What is the role of San Gorgonio Service Center Council?
1.It coordinates member participation in the California Teachers Association activities.
2.It receives tasks from State Council of Education’s committees and offer information and recommendations to the State Council and Board of Directors following study and discussion of professional issues.
3. It establishes statewide channels of communication between State Council committees or commissions and the membership. Acts as an agency for State Council committees or commissions to conduct hearings on current professional issues.
4.It develops Service Center regional objectives.
5.It advises the Service Center staff on regional programs and service needs, and to evaluate programs and services.
6.It provides foundation for regional political activities and legislative contact programs.
