FAQ

Is this a new process?
Yes. San G Steering Committee formed the State WHO Award Committee to develop criteria and a nomination process, which was then approved by the General Membership at the March meetings..

Who can nominate?
At this time, any CTA member can nominate an individual. The local chapter president of the nominee needs to verify that they are a member in good standing and it is the only nominee for the chapter.

How many nominees can each local chapter nominate?
One.
Why are the timelines short?
The decision was made in mid-March and there is a two week nomination period. This process will be available for next year with slight tweaks as the committee adjusts to the response.

Do I submit this Application for my local nominee?
No. This is to nominate for a San Gorgonio State WHO recipient.

Who worked on this?
The process was undertaken by the San G State WHO Award Committee. The committee is chaired by Edgar Diaz (Temecula) and members, Meg Vollmer (Fontana), Carissa Carrera (Coachella Valley), Jodi Taylor Dominguez (Fontana), Jeneen Stubblefield (Rialto), Anthony Garcia (Banning). Appreciation to Southeastern SCC, Service Center One, and Redwood SCC for their help.
